Hisab,
simply better accounting
On a fine day at office, we have been approached by a group of people who shares the same passion, the love for accounting. The story of Hisab begins from there.
The team wanted to create an accounting application from scratch. After an extended discussion with them, we realised that they have a clear vision and has an in-depth understanding of the industry. What they needed is a great app experience that meets their philosophy of simple accounting.
What followed is a very interesting 6 months filled with excitement, learnings, disappointments, brainstorming and marathon designing sessions.
Philosophy of Hisab: A simple, user friendly and complete accounting software for small and mid sized enterprises to help them manage their business accounts efficiently.
Problem statement: An application that focuses on daily accounting for small and mid-sized enterprises. The application should be in sync with the philosophy of simpleness and user friendliness. Major tasks include Sending Invoices & settling payments, Preparing Purchase orders & Quotation and Tracking Inventory & business health.

Little big Ideas:
It's always the small things that adds up to providing a better experience for the users. Some of the many unique features we have introduced in Hisab, which the competitors lack.
1. Simplified Filters
Users will search & sort the details in an easy way through these filters

2. Data visualization
Effective use of data visualisation and colors for easy and quick understanding

3. Hover, pinning, actions
Giving users the ability to pin important invoices for easy visibility. Also actions can be performed upon hover

4. Bulk action with preview: Check and ensure the choices are made right before proceeding

5. Simplified one column forms : One of the problems with arranging form field into multiple columns is that users will likely interpret the fields inconsistently. The path to completion is a straight line down the page for one column forms
